How do I move through time?
Drag sideways anywhere on the sky, or along the glass time bar under the reading. The whole sky, the temperature and every reading move with you. Tap Now to come back. Tapping an hour in the 48-hour chart, a day in the 10-day list or a Best times window also takes the sky there.
Why can I only go 48 hours ahead?
The free version travels two days ahead. Weatherglass Pro, a one-time purchase, opens the full ten days, the Ten-day landscape, all ten Best times activities and unlimited places.
Is the sky real?
It is drawn live on your device from the forecast: the sun and moon sit where they really are for your place and time, clouds form at the heights Apple Weather reports, and rain, snow, fog and storms follow the forecast hour by hour. It is an illustration of the forecast, not a camera.
The app says it can't load the forecast
Check your internet connection and pull down on the forecast to try again. Weatherglass shows the last forecast it saved while you are offline.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Weatherglass. Open Weatherglass now and then so the widget's sky pictures stay fresh.
What is Sky Finder?
Tap the camera button at the top of the home screen and point your phone at the sky. Weatherglass draws today's path of the sun, exactly where it will rise and set (with the sunset's score), the moon, and the direction any rain is coming from. It needs camera access only while it is open, and nothing is recorded.
How do sunset alerts and the rain countdown work?
Turn them on in Settings. When the sunset forecast scores high, Weatherglass lets you know beforehand. When rain is close, a countdown appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Both need notifications to be allowed for Weatherglass.
Can I turn the sound off?
Yes: Settings, then Sound. Weatherglass also follows your silent switch and mixes quietly with your music.
Restoring Weatherglass Pro
Open Places, tap the gear for Settings, and choose Restore purchase. Pro is tied to the Apple Account that bought it.
