How can we help?

Fidgety is made by one person, and that person answers the email. Most questions are covered below.

Talk to a real person

Email us and we will reply personally, usually within seven days. Please mention your device (for example "iPhone 17" or "iPad Air") so we can help faster.

Getting around

How do I move between the objects?

Swipe up on the paper for the next object, and down for the one before. To jump straight to one, tap the label card under the object: it opens the whole collection.

How do I turn the Panel over?

Swipe sideways on the paper, away from the controls. The Panel has six faces: Switch, Pop, Click, Slide, Roll and Spin. The dots on the label card show which one is on top.

How do I change the colour of the objects?

Tap one of the five sample coins on the desk below the label card: Graphite, Silver, Sage, Cobalt or Sand.

Why does the light change during the day?

Fidgety follows the time on your device: cool light in the morning, bright in the day, golden in the late afternoon, and a desk lamp at night.

Haptics and sound

I can't feel anything

Tap the label card, scroll to Settings and check that Haptics is turned up. Then check the iPhone itself: Settings > Sounds & Haptics > System Haptics must be on. iPads have no haptic motor, so Fidgety is silent to the touch there.

I can't hear anything

Fidgety's sounds follow the ring/silent switch, so they are muted in silent mode. Also check that Sound is turned up in Fidgety's Settings and that your volume is up.

Can I make the haptics or sound softer?

Yes. Tap the label card and use the Sound and Haptics sliders under Settings. Slide either all the way down to switch it off.

The objects

The ball on the Roll face doesn't move when I tilt

Tilt the whole device rather than swiping. The tray treats the way you were holding the device when the Roll face came up as level, so if it feels off, turn the Panel over and back to level it again. You can also change the Tilt sensitivity in Settings, or push the ball with your finger.

How do I use the cradle?

Put your finger on an end ball, pull it out to the side and let go. The knock travels down the row and the ball at the other end swings out. It slows down and comes to rest by itself, like a real one.

How do I spin the coin?

Flick it: put a finger on the coin and swipe off it quickly. A harder flick spins it longer. Touch it while it spins to slap it flat.

The screen seems to pause when I'm not touching it

That is on purpose. When nothing is moving, Fidgety stops drawing to save your battery and keep the phone cool. It wakes the moment you touch it or pick the device up.

Fidgety Pro

What does Fidgety Pro include?

The Cradle, the Coin, every object added later, and the Sage, Cobalt and Sand finishes. The Panel (all six faces), the Keys, and the Graphite and Silver finishes are included without it.

Can I try the Pro objects first?

Yes. Each Pro object can be used for a minute every day. When the minute is up, tap the label card to see Fidgety Pro, or come back tomorrow.

Is it a subscription?

No. It is a single payment through your Apple Account, and nothing renews. The price in your currency is shown in the app before you buy.

I bought Pro but it's still locked

Tap the label card, open Fidgety Pro and tap Restore purchase while signed in to the Apple Account that bought it. If that does not help, email us.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy and Android

Do I need an account?

No. Fidgety has no sign-up.

Does Fidgety have ads?

No.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Every object works with no connection. The app only goes online, through the App Store, for the Fidgety Pro purchase. See the privacy policy.

Is there an Android version?

There is a separate app, Fidgety for Android, on Google Play. It has its own set of toys and its own purchase; the two stores do not share purchases.
