Privacy Policy

Effective date: 24 October 2026 · Last updated: 26 October 2026 · Developer: Naveen Raj (Playpal Apps) · App: Fidgety (com.playpalapps.fidgety) for iPhone and iPad. Fidgety for Android is a separate app with its own privacy policy

Fidgety does not collect personal data and has no server of its own. The few settings it remembers stay on your device. This page says that in more detail, including the one occasion when the app goes online.

The short version: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Everything the app remembers is kept on your device. The optional Fidgety Pro purchase is handled by Apple.

1. What we do not do

  • We do not collect personal information of any kind.
  • We do not offer accounts, logins or sign-ups, and we do not ask for your name or email address.
  • We do not show ads.
  • We do not use analytics, crash reporting, tracking or advertising identifiers.
  • We do not run servers that receive your data. There is no Fidgety backend.
  • We do not sell or share any data, because we have none.

2. What is stored on your device

Fidgety keeps the following in the app's own private storage on your iPhone or iPad:

  • Your settings: sound volume, haptic strength and tilt sensitivity
  • The finish you chose for the objects, and which object you looked at last
  • Two simple counts of how often you have turned the Panel over and moved between objects, so the app knows when to stop showing its hints
  • How much of today's one-minute try of each Pro object you have used
  • Whether Fidgety Pro is unlocked, so the app can show it straight away before the App Store confirms it

None of this is sent to us, and none of it is linked to your identity. Deleting the app removes all of it.

3. Motion

Fidgety reads which way your device is tilted. It uses this to roll the steel ball on the Panel's Roll face, to move the light very slightly as you tilt, and to wake the screen when you pick the device up. The readings are used at that moment, on the device. They are not recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Reading tilt this way needs no permission, so the app never asks for one.

4. When Fidgety goes online

Every object works without an internet connection. Fidgety's only network use is through Apple's own StoreKit service: to look up the price of Fidgety Pro, to make the purchase, and to restore or confirm one. The app itself makes no other requests.

The Fidgety Pro page has links to this website. Tapping one opens your browser, which then works under its own privacy terms.

4a. The Fidgety Pro purchase

Fidgety Pro is an optional one-time purchase that adds the Cradle, the Coin, objects added later and three more finishes. It is not a subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple under its own terms and privacy policy. We never see your payment details, your name, your email address or your Apple Account. The app is told only whether the purchase was made.

5. Permissions

Fidgety asks for no permissions. It never uses your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, calendar or location.

6. Children's privacy

Fidgety is a general-audience app and is not directed at children. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children.

7. Third-party software

Fidgety is built with Apple's own frameworks (SwiftUI, RealityKit, Core Haptics, Core Motion, AVFoundation and StoreKit) and contains no third-party code libraries or software development kits. Its studio lighting, sounds and fonts are public-domain or openly licensed files built into the app; none of them sends or receives anything.

8. Your rights and your data

Because Fidgety never sends your data to us, there is no database from which we could retrieve, correct or delete it. It is on your device, under your control. You can remove everything by deleting the app.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
