Logging wins
How do I log a win?
On the Today tab, tap Log a win, type a few words and tap Add win. You can also tap one of the quick-add suggestions to fill it in.
I forgot to log yesterday. Can I add it now?
Yes. Tap Log a win, then tap the Today button at the top of the sheet so it reads Yesterday. The win is added to yesterday and counts toward your streak. Days earlier than yesterday cannot be added to.
How do I edit or delete a win?
Tap a win to open it, change the text or category, and tap Save changes. To delete, swipe the win to the left, or open it and tap Delete win. A message appears for a few seconds with an Undo button.
What are the categories for?
They are optional. If you pick Health, Work, Home, Mind, Social or Other, the Insights tab shows where your wins come from.
Where do the quick-add suggestions come from?
At first they are starter ideas that change with the time of day. Once you have logged the same win more than once, your own most frequent wins appear first.
Is there a limit on length?
A win can be up to 140 characters. It is meant to be a line, not an essay.
Streaks and rest days
How does the streak work?
Every day with at least one win adds a day to your streak. Today does not count as missed until it is over, so a streak from yesterday is still alive this morning.
What is a rest day?
Each time you log seven days in a row, the app banks one rest day, up to two at a time. If you miss a day, a banked rest day is used and your streak carries on. Rest days keep the streak going but do not add to its count.
My streak went back to zero
That happens when more days were missed than you had rest days banked. Your wins and your best streak are still there, on the Insights tab.
What are milestones?
Fifteen markers, such as your first win, a seven-day streak or 100 wins. Reaching one shows a short celebration, and you can see them all at the bottom of the Insights tab.
Reminders
How do I turn the reminder on or change its time?
Open the Settings tab, switch on Daily reminder, then tap Time to choose when it arrives.
I am not getting reminders
Check that notifications are allowed for Tiny Wins in your phone's settings. If they are switched off there, the Daily reminder switch in the app turns itself off. Remember too that the reminder is skipped on days when you have already logged a win.
The reminders stopped
Reminders are scheduled for the week ahead each time you open the app. If you have not opened Tiny Wins for more than a week they stop, on purpose, so they do not pile up. Open the app and they start again.
The reminder arrived a little late
On some Android phones, battery-saving features delay notifications by a few minutes. The app cannot override that.
Tiny Wins Plus
What does Plus include?
Five more colour themes (Ocean, Sunset, Lavender, Rose and Slate), a monthly recap with a card you can share, and three more share card styles (Paper, Midnight and Sunrise). Everything else in the app is free and stays free.
What does it cost?
US$4.99, once. It is not a subscription and nothing renews. The exact price in your currency is shown in the app before you buy.
How do I buy it?
Open Settings and tap Tiny Wins Plus, then Unlock Plus. The purchase is completed by the App Store or Google Play.
I bought Plus but it is still locked
Open Settings, tap Tiny Wins Plus, then Restore purchase, while signed in to the store account that bought it. If that does not help, email us.
I changed phones, or reinstalled the app
Install Tiny Wins, open Settings, tap Tiny Wins Plus and then Restore purchase. The purchase follows your store account, and usually restores by itself the first time the app opens.
Can I use Plus on both my iPhone and my Android phone?
No. A purchase made on the App Store covers your Apple devices, and one made on Google Play covers your Android devices. The two stores do not share purchases.
The Unlock button says the store cannot be reached
Check that you are online and signed in to the App Store or Google Play, then try again.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google. Request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from your Google Play order history.
Your data
Do I need an account?
No. Tiny Wins has no sign-up.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything works with no connection. The app only goes online for the Tiny Wins Plus purchase.
How do I back up or export my wins?
Open Settings and tap Export as CSV or Export as JSON, then choose where to save or send the file. CSV opens in any spreadsheet app.
I got a new phone. Will my wins move across?
Tiny Wins has no cloud sync of its own. If you restore your new phone from a full device backup, the app's data normally comes with it. Otherwise, export your wins first to keep a copy; the app cannot import them back in yet.
How do I delete everything?
Open Settings and tap Erase everything. This permanently removes your wins, check-ins and preferences from the device and cannot be undone. Deleting the app does the same.
Does Tiny Wins cost anything?
The app is free, with no ads. Tiny Wins Plus is an optional one-time purchase that adds a few extras.
