Effective date: 8 October 2026 · Last updated: 8 October 2026 · Developer: Naveen Raj (Playpal Apps) · App: Tiny Wins (com.playpalapps.tinywins) for iOS and Android

Tiny Wins does not collect personal data and has no server of its own. Your wins, check-ins and notes stay on your device. This page says that in more detail, including the one occasion when the app goes online.

The short version: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Everything you write in Tiny Wins is kept on your device and is never sent to us. The optional one-time purchase is handled by Apple or Google.

1. What we do not do

  • We do not collect personal information of any kind.
  • We do not offer accounts, logins or sign-ups, and we do not ask for your name or email address.
  • We do not show ads.
  • We do not use analytics, crash reporting, tracking or advertising identifiers.
  • We do not run servers that receive your data. There is no Tiny Wins backend.
  • We do not sell or share any data, because we have none.

2. What is stored on your device

Tiny Wins keeps the following in the app's own private storage on your phone or tablet:

  • The wins you log: the text, the category if you chose one, and the date and time
  • Your mood check-ins: mood, energy level if you set one, and any note you wrote
  • Your settings: theme, whether haptics are on, and whether and when the daily reminder is set
  • Which milestones you have already been shown, and whether you have seen the welcome screens
  • Whether Tiny Wins Plus is unlocked on this device

What you write may be personal, and notes about your mood may relate to your health. That is why none of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and none of it is linked to your identity. It stays on the device until you delete it.

3. Reminders

If you switch on the daily reminder, the app asks for permission to send notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your device by the operating system. They are not sent from a server, they work without an internet connection, and they tell us nothing. You can switch the reminder off in the app or withdraw the permission in your device settings at any time.

4. Exports and sharing

You can export your data as a file, or share an image of your day or a milestone. In both cases the app hands the file to your device's share sheet, and it goes only where you choose to send it. Whatever app or service you send it to then handles it under its own privacy terms.

5. When Tiny Wins goes online

Everything in Tiny Wins works without an internet connection. The app makes network requests in one situation only: when it talks to the App Store or Google Play through the system's own purchase service, to look up the price of Tiny Wins Plus, to make the purchase, or to restore one.

The Tiny Wins Plus purchase. Plus is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks extra colour themes, the monthly recap and extra share card styles. It is not a subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see your payment details, your name, your email address or your store account. The app is told only whether the purchase was made, and saves that answer on the device.

The app may occasionally show the standard App Store or Google Play rating prompt. That prompt is provided by Apple or Google and is subject to their privacy policies; we are not told whether or how you respond.

6. Device backups

If you use your device's own backup service, such as iCloud Backup or Google's backup, it may include the app's data. Those backups are made under your own Apple or Google account and their terms. We have no access to them.

7. Permissions

  • Notifications: only if you switch on the daily reminder.
  • Android only: vibration, for haptic feedback; the system permissions needed to schedule a reminder and restore it after the phone restarts; and Google Play billing, with the internet access its billing library needs to reach the store.

Tiny Wins never asks for your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, calendar or location.

8. Children's privacy

Tiny Wins is a general-audience app and is not directed at children. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children.

9. Third-party software

Tiny Wins is built with React Native and Expo and uses open-source packages for on-device storage, notifications, haptics and sharing. None of them sends data from Tiny Wins to a server. The only third parties that receive anything are Apple's StoreKit or the Google Play Billing Library, as described in section 5.

10. Your rights and your data

Because Tiny Wins never sends your data to us, there is no database from which we could retrieve, correct or delete it. It is on your device, under your control. You can export a copy from Settings, and you can remove everything with Settings > Erase everything or by uninstalling the app.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
